General Manager – Upscale Mediterranean Restaurant

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base salary + performance-based bonus

Join a well-established hospitality group with deep roots in New York City’s fine dining scene as we expand into the vibrant South Florida market. Known for delivering exceptional Mediterranean cuisine, timeless hospitality, and beautiful, transportive spaces inspired by the Greek islands, our restaurants are celebrated for both authenticity and innovation. Our newest concept in West Palm Beach will feature approximately 400 seats and serve an elevated, health-conscious menu designed to appeal to sophisticated, experience-driven guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house operations for a 400-seat upscale restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless guest experience during both lunch and dinner
  • Cultivate and lead a hospitality-driven culture focused on professionalism, warmth, and consistency
  • Hire, train, and manage FOH staff, maintaining high service standards, team morale, and accountability
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and Director of Operations to align service flow with culinary execution and operational efficiency
  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, cleanliness, guest relations, and compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Drive top-line revenue through proactive service strategies, community engagement, and table-touch leadership
  • Oversee labor management, budgeting, and P&L performance, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Build strong relationships within the community to promote guest loyalty and local awareness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-run dining environment that reflects brand values and upscale ambiance
  • Lead and reinforce ongoing training and development programs for staff at all levels

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, upscale dining environment
  • Strong understanding of elevated hospitality service, luxury guest expectations, and Mediterranean or coastal dining cultures
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams in a fast-paced environment with grace, clarity, and consistency
  • Experience with forecasting, labor and cost controls, and financial reporting
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of POS systems, scheduling platforms, and reservation tools
  • Polished communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a guest-first mindset
  • Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a passion for building teams and delivering memorable guest experiences
